New Komorebi reference (Transparent and background variant)
And yes I got a story and bio thing for her (gonna say this before: Its long, It also will be further expanded on or changed in the future, Its also the short version of events or...atm explanation to the best of my ability)
Name: Komorebi
Nicknames: K.K, “Little Fox” (As a child)
Age: In her early 20’s (Age of Calamity)
Height: 5’0 ft
Personality: mischievous to downright malevolent, freedom-loving, unhinged, insatiable, self-indulgent, duteous (to the Yiga), agile and steadfast, Easily Provoked, Playful, Cocky, Quick-witted, Boastful Basically someone who wasn't born for lovin' but born to raise hell, although she does keep her promises and repay any favors, Lustful.
Strength: Agility, Stealth, Her charm (adulthood ig), Fast, light-footed, Skilled at disguise (her appearance and even voice), teleportation, Can identify the constellations easily.
Weaknesses: Her chaotic nature can be a bit much and get out of control (or annoying). If you are tall/ strong enough and catch her in time, you can just literally throw her. A bit cruel, Takes big risks without worrying about the consequences.
Likes: Freedom, Fun and Leisure, Calamity Ganon, Chaos, Mischief, Pranks, and Evil, Proving herself to Master Kohgah and those she heavily respects and getting praise, Making fun of Astor and ig Astor in general (if he doesnt/ didnt betray the Yiga), Koroks, Stargazing, Bananas, Getting into the action.
Dislikes: Insults and Disrespect towards Master Kohgah and her fellow Yiga, Link, Hyrule and the champions (ofc), The Sheikah (personal), Dogs, Anyone and everyone who isn't a follower of Calamity Ganon, Serious “to the point they literally drain the life out of fun” type of people.
Yiga member status : Yiga Footsoldier
Weapon: Twin Vicious Sickles
-----------------------------------------
Born a Sheikah within Kakariko Village to a single father (her mother leaving the picture after she was born), as a child she leaned towards chaos, leisure, and calamity any chance she could, with added childhood curiosity..and due to her father not letting her out of his sight (on rare occasions letting her out) due to his protectiveness. Though this was mostly him socially isolating her and not letting her out of his site unless it was hunting or stargazing (she also learned how to make paper cranes from him), she would sneak out with new and improved moves and plans (improving her stealth and agility immensely). This may be due to Ganon and overall thinking the world and others should not be fully trusted. This just led her to have more curiosity towards this "Ganon." (Note: I stink at writing, but I will expand on her father. Let's just say... It was toxic..and abusive.
As her curiosity and herself grew, she grew more isolated and experienced more and more social exclusion from other village children due to her personality and just..in general (out of the norm and such); except for a Sheikah boy named Aiken and a little Korok Legos. Legos being the one who let her know more about the outside world, including what the Hyrule family did to the sheikah all those years ago. This made Komorebi think things through for a while. Things changed within her, including her not caring about the others as much as she grew more chaotic. She also learned more about Ganon more and more. She thought he was like her in a way (chaoss), and this made her grow more disdain towards the royal family.
On a fateful day, she and her father were out the village to hunt. She then met the person who would lead her to becoming a Yiga Clan member and a second father figure, Kira. After she fought him (because why not and because he was suspicious of her), Kira was impressed with her agility and skill, though she did need to improve on a lot of things.
Komorebi asked him who and where he came from. This is how she learned about the Yiga (or well, the earlier years of the Yiga). Intrigued and..happy. Over a few nights and her sneaking out, Her and Kira would talk, Kira telling her about Master Kohgah and Soogah..and overall just Yiga things. As she learned more, Komorebi asked Kira if she could join the Yiga, seeing it as a better place for her, a place away from her home.
Overtime and after murdering her father as part of her own escape plan, she finally got herself accepted and became a Yiga. Training under Kira (and Soogah), she pretty much fit in easily. Some Yiga liked her due to her agility, though some thought of her as out of control even for them. Though she proved herself anyways.
Due to her being born with white hair, she often dyed it black, though she had some variations (see ref above), She also binds her chest with a sarashi to conceal, to be aerodynamic, and ig to reduce drag.
-----------------------------------------
Notes:
This mostly relates to Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, She could exist outside of that game but things will be pretty different
Honestly I will say; I am horrible at trying to write what her bio/story will be as I plan on expanding it more as I go along (there maybe changes here and there which will probably be written and added here), The one that I have been wanting to expand on is her relationship between her and her father as this is the catalyst to her being a Yiga (and why she murdered him)..I did spoil it a bit but let's just say…Its kinda sad (or is supposed to be)
Probably shipped with Astor because I can (oc x canon for the win…if you hate oc x canon…skill issue + cry about it + cope)
Tbh I guess when writing about her (her old and present bio) she reminded me of a Kitsune in a way
#yiga oc#digital drawing#age of calamity#digital art#I did my best to explain things or explain things I have for her currently#I suck at explaining things my bad#Also kitsune references yayyyy#Also oc x canon shall reign supreme >:))))#Also Astor is a underrated character so >:))))

I just think about how funny Uraraka interacting with Kacchan is. Like in most normal situations it's her talking shit about him but others it's like "URARAKA! KILL HIM" "Ok 🤗" lmao
Bakugou and Uraraka is such an underrated dynamic. It really makes it obvious how inherently feral Ochako is.
If you guys haven't read the mini chapter included in the the Ultra Archive book, I highly recommend it because their dynamic is so peak. I always find it entertaining when characters just don't give a shit about how unapproachable Bakugou is, but there's something very special with how effortlessly she is willing to call him out on his bullshit.
Wingman Kirishima is dead; Wingman Uraraka reigns supreme.

Some Iliad character designs of the old Greek Myth children comic book series published a long time ago in my home country, which had low key inspired my art years later.
I used to own the whole series, now I don’t even know where some of the volumes are.
P.S the whole series is a combination of many famous myths and is arranged in a somewhat chronological order, so from the formation of the world towards the rise of the 12 Olympians and in the end the Age of Heroes and Aeneid.
Hector with his magnificent mustache
Aeneas
Andromache, she is so pretty
Paris and Polyxena
Big Ajax ( ft Achilles and Odysseus chilling in the background)
Helen my girl
Clytemnestra. She’s magnificent.
Menelaus(left) and Agamemnon(right). Looking back, the little crown on Agamemnon’s head is killing me fr. This is also why long hair Menelaus is supreme.
Diomedes, he has very generic design compared to the others, which ironically fits his fate of being underrated.
Odysseus. I swear the artist is a Ody fanboy, he was given the silkiest and floatiest hair, though the red color made him look like Achilles’ cooler cousin, even more than Ajax.
The inspo for this long post, Achilles himself. It seems they followed the “Pyrrha” route, so he is a redhead here. Funny that he was drawn to be quite huge and bulky, in some scene even more than Ajax.
Neoptolemus. He had red-brown hair instead and had very minor appearance in the whole series, so they just drawn him like a smaller and younger Achilles

Donald O'Connor (Singin' in the Rain, Francis, Call Me Madam)— LOOK AT HIM. Those giant blue peepers. Those tappy tappy little feet that don't quit. The ears that stick out like little wings, ready to lift him up to goofy heaven. The way his face contorts into the strangest yet most endearing expressions. His ability to sing and dance alongside the hunk that is Gene Kelly and yet pull all attention away with his big-eyed buffoonery. The way his energy is unmatched in songs like "Make 'em laugh" - bouncing off the walls and tumbling through the air straight into my cold cold heart. Who else but a true scrungly lil guy would sit upon the witness stand and defend a talking mule with all the love and affection in the world - staring out into the court room with his bright wide eyes and eternally mouse-like expression, openly admitting that the mule is his best friend?!??! I see him and I want to pull him from the screen into my hand and just squiiiiiiiiiiiiish with all my might. I want to pinch his cheeks and have him bat those eyes at me. He just makes me go "eeehehehehehe" every time I see him and his silly little self. He is pure chaotic, ridiculous, scrungly perfection!
Dustin Hoffman—I just watched The Graduate for the first time and he's so cute oh my god. I thought he'd be 5'7" like al pacino but NO he's even smaller (5'6") 😭 he's very scrungly in this movie because when he gets nervous he keeps saying "what?" every time someone says something to him and he's very awkward. I think his relationship with Elaine is really sweet and when she went to his apartment thing asking for a kiss & they hugged and he put a hand on the back of her head I was like ugh I need what they have
This is round 1 of the contest. All other polls in this bracket can be found here. If you're confused on what a scrungle is, or any of the rules of the contest, click here. This poll goes up to 1970, so please only include propaganda from before that year!
[additional submitted propaganda + scrungly videos under the cut]
Donald O'Connor:
youtube
My silliest little guy. My funnyman. My horsie. I have watched many a bad movie for this man. The scrungliest fact I know about him is that he was supposed to star as Danny Kaye's role in the iconic White Christmas (1954), as he had known Bing Crosby since he was a child, but couldn't because he caught a mule disease while working on those Francis the Talking Mule films Universal endlessly made him do. I wouldn't exactly recommend those movies, but Don's character getting psychologically tormented by a sardonic mule does make for quite a good movie night, if you know what you're getting into. Are You With It? is another one I don't exactly recommend, but it does open with Donald as a math genius actuary who is about to kill himself over a displaced decimal point before getting taken in by a traveling carny instead. His more well-known and beloved roles have plenty of scrungliness too, in my opinion. This man slapsticked so hard he wound up bedridden for his physical exertion! Rather than submitting Make 'Em Laugh, which the electorate has likely already seen (I hope), I'm submitting an underrated dance number of his, where he explains maths through tap dance. That movie is Not good, but god do I love him in that role.
youtube
youtube
I think it's arguably very scrungly to seemingly be a real life cartoon character made out of rubber, as proven by how slapsticky the list of scrunglies is so far. In which case, Donald O'Connor? He scrungles supremely. He even played Buster Keaton in a movie (that apparently can't be recommended, but still).

Controversial take the AA and Narumitsu fandom are going to flame my ass whatever but as an avid Narumitsu shipper and Miles Edgeworth fan (he's my #1 favorite character of the franchise) I love bastard Phoenix but in the specific flavor of him cheating on Miles with Kristoph during the 7yg. Like. Because tbh Phoenix gets attached and loves (obsseses) over people so readily and easily that once he has very little to loose he decides to try and keep what he does have and he wants both. Why CAN'T he have both he wants both. Is it fair to Miles AND to Kristoph? No but life hasn't been fair to HIM either and it's selfish and he's a horrible partner, he feels guilty so so much, but he can't stop, he can't let go of either because he wants BOTH. He clings to both and refuses to let go. He has so much to give why can't he take a bit, too. Why can't he have them both!!!! Miles is his past and Kristoph could be part of his present and he refuses to let go of any of it. Then he fully learns was Kristoph is doing and plays the game and continues because, yeah he'll bring Kristoph down but he still wants both, even if it's not good for him. So he'll keep both as long as he can. Even if he's going to destroy one of them in the end. Once again life is not being fair and this must be Karma, for trying to grab too much, trying to hold too much in his hands. So if it's going to be over and by his own hands, he will keep indulging as long as he can.
Extra points Kristoph absolutely knows and seethes everytime Miles visits because Phoenix goes away during that time even though he ends up back with him once Miles leaves and why is Kristoph once again coming second? He hates Mile's ass (but he wonders what it is about that man. He is curious, in a morbid way. He wants a taste himself, just to see what of Miles is so good that Phoenix can't stop himself from eating from it even now).
Miles doesn't know at first but he starts suspecting and then he learns about it but he... doesn't say anything. He's a self respecting man, he SHOULD say something for his own self at the least but he. He thinks of everything that has happened. He sees how defeated Phoenix is. He remembers being defeted himself. He remembers he owes Phoenix half his life, really. He is so attached himself, and what would he do without Phoenix in his life? So he decides its fine, isn't it? Because it's partially Miles fault, too. He's not There. He's away too much, all the time, during Phoenix's time of need. And Phoenix is just a man. Just like him. And he wonders. He wishes he knew Kristoph more, and he's jealous and angry at him because Kristoph is dignified and not a bit weird in his likes and idiosyncrasies and perhaps that's the appeal, someone who isn't a bit odd and who is actually there. He remembers that one date he's ever been to, back in highschool. He remembers trying so hard to be likable. He remembers failing at it. He sees how easy it is for Kristoph to do what he couldn't and still can't. And he wonders how it is to taste that in a partner.
Anyways in the end I think they should all kiss idk 🧍🏻♀️ (there are two specific things I have consumed in this fandom that have built my hc's for Krisnix, Nrmts, and narumitskris during the 7yr gap and the fic specifically is /it/ like that's lowkey canon to me with some tweaks to fit canon timeline and events and characters).
*coughs* I rambled I just think all 3 could have the most interesting dynamic known to man YES including Miles/Kristoph can you imagine the chaos of that? It's Phoenix's worst and best dream come to life. I think Miles/Kristoph is supremely underrated actually. I think they should all fuck nasty and hate-filled. Thank you for coming to my....uh. Insanity.
(I also love the idea of Miles and Kristoph cat fighting over a man who CHEATS like girls get up omg [all 3 are deranged])

zutara fanfic recs bc absolutely nobody asked
PLEASE REBLOG AND TELL ME IF YOU LIKED MY RECS BTW :)
the art of holding on and letting go - teen and up - by evergreenonthehorizon
genuinely one of the best fics i've ever read. it's aang centric and it's from his pov so zutara isn't as prominent as you would have hoped but it's a modern au where they all go to the same high school and aang learns how to let go of his infatuation with the idea of katara rather than who katara is as a person. deeply underrated, please check it out.
we hold our hearts in silence - general audiences - by psychadelic_sya
it completely follows the canon timeline and it features geriatric and ancient zutara who meet again after many years and when you read this, please listen to last kiss by taylor swift on repeat. that's how you get the full experience. it hurts so so so much.
the colour of the stars - teen and up - by bluenebulae
it's a season 3 rewrite from the day of the black sun onwards where katara and zuko both get captured and they work together to try and find the gaang. it's pretty long but the slow burn is so well done, they absolutely nailed the characterisation and it might be my favourite fic ever. they learn everything about each other and the moments zutara shares makes my heart burn with happiness. cannot recommend this one enough.
figure it out - mature - by clearascountryair (uncompleted but ends in a good spot)
they aged up all the characters by two years and it's basically about ember island and what happened after southern raiders. it's a bit uncomfortable at times for some, because there's quite a lot of sex mentioned and featured and drinking as well but the messages overall and the lessons are really good. and it covers the non consensual kataang kiss and there's so many good takeaways. not finished, but ends up in a good spot.
the chemistry of cooking - mature - by smeditteranea
hear me out, hear me out, HEAR ME OUT, it's another college modern au (yeah, sue me, i love my modern aus) but it's really well done, the characterisation is done right, no hate to any of the characters whatsoever, supremely adorable, there's some smut but just scroll past that. so zuko and katara basically end up being lab partners in a cooking class which ozai seriously frowns upon. ozai runs this really morally bankrupt company and zuko works in it, and basically figures out that ozai is doing illegal dumpings and tries to report it.
BONUS:
i feel something (when i see you now) - teen and up - by glowgal
katara is an up and coming popular actor and is zuko's high school crush. they meet again and it's so adorable.

okay so you know how basically every popular Pokemon character has the “being adorable with the small cute first stage pokemon” genre of fanart-
okay actually maybe not everyone is as obsessive about this as me lmao. okay so like… when fanartists draw Raihan being really cute with a Trapinch even though you only ever see him with a Flygon. or when artists draw Volo with Togepi even though it’s fully evolved by the end of the game… or like recently how popular it is to draw Geeta with Glimmet… that kind of fanart
my point being i think fanartists should draw Arven more with Nacli. it’s a supremely underrated cute design and im tired of pretending it isn’t

finally started the Alex Rider TV Series
so i have literally no idea why i never watched the TV show and decided that since i'm coming back to this fandom i should probably catch up a bit oops
but it's much more fun when we can all discuss the show together so here are my thoughts (spoilers etc below):
S1E1:
i guess i never really thought of pre-series Alex, but i like the way they showed him here. he was definitely always getting into nonsense and i liked how Ian's vibe was very "not only do i have to raise my brother's son but he's a complete menace to society." 10/10 in character
THE ELEVATOR SCENE!!!! I READ POINT BLANK WHEN I WAS LIKE 10 AND THAT IS STILL MY FIRST THOUGHT BEFORE STEPPING INTO ANY ELEVATOR EVER THANK YOU HOROWITZ
the scence where Alex and Tom were biking and Alex was just like "bye tell Jack I'm alive" was perfection. very series-Alex and i smiled watching it (Alex is truly the king of no context.)
also i really liked the one Ian and Jack moment. truly an underrated dynamic
we were indeed robbed of a horribly awkward Ian funeral scene
the scene where immigration and CPS came in was chef's kiss perfection (and when Alex said "i dont even need to dial bc ik you're listening???? so good)
so many things were off book but i am choosing to ignore them and just enjoy this for what it is
sorry, but the one scene from the movie that will always reign supreme is Yassen upside down and shooting Ian in the face with a gun in each hand. lives in my brain rent free
this post got kind of long oops but i think i will be making a post for each episode (just for fun). i'd love to hear everyone else's takes and no spoilers pls and ty

I haven't listened to anything but Guilty Gear soundtracks for like a month (since Symphony released) and for a while I didn't really appreciate how fucking good the songs were but they're SO GOOD
A super underrated part of their composition that I don't really see people talk about is the level of complexity that the instrumentals get into without being overwhelmingly loud. It adds such beautiful relistenability, because you can seemingly always hear something new in a lot of the songs. ON TOP OF THAT, they help to capture the vibes of a character supremely well
For example, Sol's Xrd theme, Give Me a Break, starts with a thick, grindy, intense guitar riff. Then slow, crashing drums and cymbals come in, adding to the sense of weight the song already has, along with subtle clacking (i don't know what the instrument is but clacking is the best descriptor, it might be a cowbell?) to help keep the pace and fill out the song. A bass is there too, adding a nice smooth underlying layer of deep notes to the song. Finally, a lead guitar comes in and the grindy rhythm guitar moves to the background of the song, exchanged for a more melodic guitar in a higher pitch, but still with the longer, more intense notes. This is in the first 10 seconds.
It all blends into a rich and dense layered cake of a song, allowing for freedom of expression from the lead guitar, while not relying on it too heavily to carry the song. (It absolutely is the best part of the song, but the background instrumentals are just as important)
Drift (Happy Chaos' theme) does this so fucking well, so fucking fucking beautifully well. When the outro starts, you hear Naoki's vocals, over a piano and some sparse strings, before cymbals crash in with trumpets and a choir and booming drums to accentuate the climax of the song, cutting out as Naoki says "Please don't stop the flow!" It then goes back to the very fast heavy-metal-esque drums and guitar and bass, but WITH the strings and choir backing up Naoki's singing and holy fucking shit it's amazing amazing oh my goooood
Symphony (A.B.A.'s Strive theme) was what really got me hooked onto it, though. The last two minutes of that song are fucking PEAK music. It starts with light drums, an organ, and a bass backing up a piano, cutting the formerly intense tone of the song for a nice break from the intensity. Naoki comes in, shortly followed by that classic grindy Guilty Gear guitar, as the piano and drums speed up to match a slowly rising intensity, before breaking into the final verse and chorus, with Naoki vocalizing over intense drums and guitar (as well as a bass but i do struggle to pick it out,) with the piano providing the main melody. Choral "la la la la" chants accompany the cries of "Break out, break out," filling it out perfectly for the tone of the song
It's honestly extremely difficult to properly articulate how it all comes together in the end for the songs. It ends up being a complex, emotional, BANGER. Go listen to the music from these soundtracks and when you do, pay attention to the main melody, then listen to them again and again and again and again and pick out the little extras in the background to truly understand WHY Guilty Gear music is so good.
#guilty gear#aba guilty gear#sol badguy#happy chaos#daisuke's vision#music#am i just extremely autistic and overselling it?#maybe#but theyre still fucking awesome

I got some characters for your headcanon station! :D
• Bradley. Do it. I'm hyper with the skunk >:)
• Vin Moosk! He's cool!! X3
• Numbuhs 86 and 362! Our beloved moongirls <3
• Julie (the girl from op. P.O.I.N.T.)! Cute and underrated character!!
• and our supreme girlboss... NUMBUH 23 🖤❤️
(Sorry if I sent so many asks! XD)
Hope you have an awesome day! 💕
Not too many at all! I love the variety. Since there’s so many, I’ll probably only 1-2 headcanons for each.
Bradley’s favorite room in the treehouse to sleep in is Wally’s. You know how animals always seem to know which person in the room likes them the least and then consciously choose to bother that person the most? That’s Bradley lmao. He also has a wide collection of sweaters that Kuki likes to dress him up in, but after his robo-surgery it’s a lot harder to put them on.
Okay to be completely transparent I totally forgot Vin Moosk existed and had to google him. Fake fan guys, sorry. Anyways, after Moosk breaks free of his accounting job (again), he begins his new career as a menswear bounty hunter! Since the queen tie has been defeated, he’s broadened his horizons and dedicated himself to stopping all sorts of stiff, expensive clothing. Windsor is currently trying to locate him, to no avail.
Numbuhs 86 and 362 spend most of their lunch breaks together. Rachel is often too busy to leave her office so Fanny brings her lunch to her, and they sit and talk about all the crazy confidential data they’re privy too and also how much Fanny hates stupid boys. Sometimes Rachel nods off during the conversation, but Fanny is usually too caught up in her own ranting to even notice.
Julie is one of Cree’s friends, as they’re both on McClintock High’s volleyball team. She isn’t a teen ninja, however. She’s too nice for that. Her and Marty end up breaking up a few months after their attempted date at The Point, but in typical teenage fashion get back together when they realize they can’t live without each other (they break up again next month).
I loveeee Virginia. She was 100% the girl that tried to make you eat earth worms in kindergarten. She really likes old school fighting games like Street Fighter and Tekken. Her and Bartie once connected her game console to one of the main monitors of the Moonbase Observation Bridge and were officially banned from Moonbase for a week for it. It was totally worth it.

murderbot for fandom asks?
oh good question.
blorbo (favorite character, character I think about the most) it's gotta be murderbot itself! in fact if i had to pick a single blorbo as supreme blorbo across all fandoms, it would be murderbot probably at least 50% of the time.
scrunkly (my “baby”, character that gives me cuteness aggression, character that is So Shaped) i mean probably three is the closest but it feels infantalizing to say that? i'm struggling with this definition, i think. but three is definitely my cherished beloved and i have certainly clutched my hands to my bosom when overcome by the great affection i feel for it, so i feel like that should count.
scrimblo bimblo (underrated/underappreciated fave) VOLESCUUUUU!! smartest member of a team of smartypantses is the one who goes "hmmm. i think i will retire actually" after almost getting eaten by hostile fauna/murdered by hostile corporates. he got some trauma and at the earliest opportunity fucked back off to his group marriage about it. aspirational.
glup shitto (obscure fave, character that can appear in the background for 0.2 seconds and I won’t shut up about it for a week) i don't know if i am quite that enthusiastic, but i do appreciate kaede, who's been in like two scenes and all i know about her is that she has no interest in dealing with ratthi and tarik's "sexual discussion". girl, same. i also like tural, who is an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire of indah and mensah and secunit's little glare-off in the trans lateral corridor just standing there like 🥺 please may i do my job now 🥺
poor little meow meow (“problematic”/unpopular/controversial/otherwise pathetic fave) this is hard! i don't know that anyone really falls into poor little meow meow territory in the classic sense. in my opinion thiago did nothing wrong so i don't think he really counts, but in the spirit of picking an unpopular/controversial character who i actually like a lot, i guess he's my answer.
horse plinko (character I would torment for fun, for whatever reason) i think it's kinda fun what a horrible day leonide is having in system collapse. like it is objectively a terrible time for her, she gets betrayed, she gets shot, but she's also experiencing such disorienting events as "weaponry says a swear" and "if it weren't bad enough that we're in a high-speed chase running from the people who betrayed me, someone in the backseat is watching a soap opera and they forgot their fucking headphones". i'm picturing a reality show where interspersed with stressful action scenes we keep cutting to the talking head she recorded about it after the fact and she's just staring into the camera dead-eyed not saying anything.
eeby deeby (character I would send to superhell) whichever clients on past contracts made murderbot fight other secunits for their entertainment. fuck that extremely.
#thank youuu!!! i love talking about tmbd <333#the murderbot diaries#murderbot#mb supporting cast#mb three#asks#not anon

Prompt 14 -KP Superlatives (dealer's choice)
1. Best Hair -Tankhun, and not just because I have a thing for red hair...okay mostly because I have a thing for red hair. But what can I say, it was at least 3 different shades, it was snatched. It was fab.
Runner Up -Kinn. I know Mile cut his hair for this role and once it was free, it seemed to take the opportunity to fluff up as much as possible. It’s gloriously wild and poofy.
2. Best James Bond Roleplay - Kinn in the white tux
Runner Up-Porsche and his various spying on Kinn
3. Best Comedic performance in a serious role -Pol. I know the prevailing theory is that he was hired to be a companion for Tankhun more than a bodyguard, but he still has bodyguard training so he can actually protect Khun and he’s still included in bodyguard activities, but yeah.
Runner Up -Gun. This man never met a dramatic moment he couldn’t drag over the top kicking and screaming.
4. Best Prop - Red Ducati motorcycles. These get ridden more than Porsche. Everybody looks good on them. Both Kinn and Vegas let Porsche drive. They actually have passenger helmets that look like they’d protect precious skulls(looking at you Between Us and Love in the Air).
Runner Up - Kinn’s lucky gun. It’s just sexy and romantic that he gave it to Porsche as a token, okay. It’s also the gun Porsche is using when he’s contemplating killing the man who he thinks killed his parents (which is an interesting meta that I am not doing, nope).
5. Best Unhinged Moment - Pool pants y’all. In a show full of unhinged moments, this one is supreme for me. I still shudder thinking about it.
Runner Up - Atticwife Nampheung (pictured hearing this plot point for the first time)
or Mouth Dildo?
I couldn’t decide. Both are unhinged in entirely different ways and are perfect examples of the tonal whiplash of that show(something I adore shrugs).
6. Best Serious Performance in a comedic role -Jom. I side-eye the comic relief characters but KP was awesome with this? Like every character is heart-warming instead of annoying and still funny. I probably should have done an underrated character post for Jom tbh. I love him. I love the way he supports his friends, giving Porsche the money he won on the fight, staying up to the point of exhaustion helping Tem deal with his broken heart. For all his goofiness, he’s smart and observant and I still think he was deliberately fucking with Kinn, who even if he didn’t know he was Porsche’s boss, was clearly some rich guy out of his element and only there because he was crushing on Porsche. It’s a small role and it could have been just a throwaway part but it’s so much better than that because who he is says a lot about who Porsche is and shows why he became such good friends with the misfit gang.
Runner Up -Yok. Definitely not an underrated character. I think we all know that Yok is the shit. But again, she’s not just funny and fabulous, she’s smart and she loves Porsche and rolls with all the weirdness he brings with him and gives him great advice and becomes a safe person for Tankhun. She turns what could have been a caricature into the only mature, caring, functional, non-evil “adult” character in the show.
7. Best Product Placement - Peppermint Field Black Inhaler. I know it seems like the bread is a shoo-in here, but hear me out. Black Inhaler was willing to let their product be used during illegal underground fighting and public sex. The Bread is great but it can’t compare to that.
Runner Up -Bread obvs
8. Best Facial Feature -Vegas’ smirk
Runner Up(s) -Kinn’s eyebrows
Pete’s fake smile
Chay’s doe eyes
Kim’s killer glare/dead-eyed stare/flirty smize (the boy does a lot with his eyes)
9. Best Visual Joke - Kinn reading a coffee-table book about coffee while waiting on Porsche to bring him coffee.
Runner Up-Pol whipping out a finger gun
10. Best Use of A BL Trope - Spongebath. Using this comedically as a deliberate seduction technique, basically acknowledging that it’s kind of ridiculous, works very well, letting Porsche’s goofball side and Kinn’s clueless side really shine. It also lets their uncontrolled horniness and Porsche’s ass shine -right in front of Pete’s salad eventually, but oh well.
Runner Up(s) - Baby is a clumsy bunny(which I think is what @absolutebl calls it, I couldn’t find the exact post) -the show uses Porsche’s literal tripping as a foreshadowing of his figurative trip up, showing that while he can talk the talk of a bodyguard i.e. ... wear the snazzy suit, he can’t yet walk the walk. He proves that by his behavior on his first bodyguard gig.
Singing - Can I say that @AbsoluteBL’s hatred of this trope makes me giggle because my mother hates singing so much that I had to verbalize an SNL musical sketch to her instead of letting her watch it? Anyway, this one is pretty obvious, but still notable because they didn’t just let Jeff, Mile, and Barcode show off their pipes. They wove music in as a subplot that allowed it to stand as a character marker for not just Kim, but Chay and Kinn. I feel like “Between Us” scarred me for life with bad singing awkwardly shoved into the plot for no reason, so KP gets so much love from me for this.
Bonus: Best Hype Man
Seriously, this guy is more excited than Gun about this coup attempt. He has been waiting years for this. And now my head-canon is that he used to work for the main family and when he was injured in the line of duty, Korn tossed him out and Gun took him in for spite and he’s nurtured a seething hatred for Korn since then.
Bonus: Sexiest Gesture - Kinn’s finger come hither.

🍎🫐?
WHEEEEE! :D :D :D
🍎 Is there anything you straight-up won’t write? Kink, of any kind; it makes me feel supremely uncomfortable. I struggle with tropes, as I find them kind of pointless (I'd much rather just write a story). I don't like jealousy and misunderstandings - I like it when characters communicate.
🫐 What’s your favorite underrated thing in your fandom? (A ship that only you seem to write for, a character there’s almost no fics about, a trope that criminally hasn’t been written yet, etc.) ARWEN'S BROTHERS. There isn't nearly enough stuff about them, and it baffles me because they were really popular when I was first in the fandom 20-odd years ago. I think everyone got distracted by the Silmarillion and the Fëanorians, and of course they're not in the movies (unless you subscribe to my feral theory about the smiths who reforge the sword and Jason Secto turning up twice at the end of RotK), but seriously COME ON. Their sister is canonically the living image of the most beautiful woman who ever lived, as is their dad, so they must be too, and there's TWO OF THEM. The possibilities are endless! Arwen is not an only child! alksdjf;asldfjl;asdfs They are my favourite characters in the whole damn thing and I am completely feral about them.
heeee, thank you for asking! :D :D :D anyone else want to send me fruit and get some opinions in return?

Actually I'm not done talking about your Ganondorf yet, he's so blorbo/pos, this man wants power but has to put up with so much shit that he makes everyone else put up with his shit too. 10/10 also I would like to kiss him please
FIRST OF ALL THANK YOU AGAIN AAA, SECOND OF ALL you’re so right about this that i ended up…writing many paragraphs of character analysis about him in this regard because this activated something in my brain. like about him inflicting shit on other people because of the shit that’s inflicted on him, and how much i’ve thought about that. i have so many feelings about his shitty personality, i think a fundamental part of why i love him is that he is…literally an asshole and he’s kind of impulsive and often terrible to people for no reason and he’s probably genuinely unbearable to be around even if you are close to him, but i think he is that way by virtue of the COMPLETELY UNREASONABLE REALITY that he lives in?? like.
ok so. i feel like OoT ganondorf is AS unpredictable & unreasonable & unpleasant as the circumstances that he lives with. we’re talking about someone who was not only born into the role of king of a nation that’s been generationally abused by Hyrule since the start of a centuries-long war predating OoT, but he’s also become accustomed to fighting against the Sheikah of that time period, who notably still had an immense technological advantage, and apparently inherit divine knowledge from the gods, and are capable of making evidence of their crimes against humanity just sort of…DISAPPEAR from the sight of most average people??? and also they. fucking invented time travel apparently
one of my favorite bits of really underrated OoT lore is how the Composer Brothers (who you can speak to as ghosts in the Kakariko Graveyard) were hired at some point by the royal family to study the powers of the royal bloodline, and they invented the Sun’s Song, which accelerates time, turns night to day, etc. a form of time travel, in essence. and. canonically. the Composer Brothers committed suicide when they found out ganondorf was going to try to steal their completed research. maybe to prevent him from torturing the the information out of them even if they destroyed it? which is a completely fucking batshit piece of lore that i still cannot believe exists
but imo it also gives a bit more context as to how desperate ganondorf probably was at the heel end of the civil war, or whenever this happened. he was literally having to contend with people who can fucking time travel, and to some extent, alter reality at will, superficially or otherwise. i’m not at all surprised that he has a tendency to 1) hold grudges forever and remember everything that’s ever been done to him, and 2) obsess over stealing the full Triforce, the one chance that any regular mortal has at changing their reality in a fundamental way. i think it’s probably difficult to make real personal connections when you’ve always been constantly at risk of losing anything & everything that you care about, in a way that may or may not affect whether those things had ever existed in the first place
i also feel like he PREFERS to be demonized/label himself really hyperbolic things like the King of All Evil and stuff because it’s…the opposite of what Hyrule does. Hyrule makes itself out to be this Supremely Benevolent Institution That Is Chosen By The Gods And Can Do No Wrong, while simultaneously disappearing its naysayers underground and torturing them and killing them and committing genocide against any territories that refuse to be absorbed under the Hyrulean banner. i don’t think Ganondorf cares whether his actions are necessarily good or evil, but i think that to him, the most abhorrent thing in existence is a thing that claims to be good when it isn’t.
so. he presumably spent his entire early life having to fend off the ever-looming bootheel of Hyrule’s royal family, while their army and their secret police were actively destroying the Gerudo and then gaslighting them all about it on an Existential Level. like. yeah no i think him having immense issues and…projecting the lack of control that he feels onto people around him, and being fully defined by his ambitions to take the triforce, and wanting people to despise him/see him as fundamentally evil, and him being sort of incapable of forming genuine connections with people, is…kinda par for the course with that agdkahkfjagajfhs
#ask#txt#ganondorf#SORRY FOR WRITING ALL THIS I DONT KNOW WHY I DID. IT JUST REMINDED ME OF ALL THESE FEELINGS I HAVE#OoT ganondorf is a great character i think he needs to be appreciated more. it’s his origin story and you can draw so much from it#thank you again anon. i would also kiss him#suicide mention#suicide cw#brief mention but just in case

Rene Auberjonois (Brewster McCloud)—I feel like anyone who was in a Robert Altman movie should count as scrungly, and this guy was in many a Robert Altman movie.
This is round 2 of the contest. All other polls in this bracket can be found here. If you're confused on what a scrungle is, or any of the rules of the contest, click here. Reminder this is a poll about old films, not TV, and no TV based propaganda will be accepted.
[additional submitted propaganda + scrungly videos under the cut]
